I’ve seen this pilot get a LOT of hate on social media, and I mean A LOT. I wasn’t keen on the previews and I certainly wasn’t expecting it to be good….but let me just say, while it didn’t knock me off my feet or anything, it wasn’t THAT bad. It definitely has the allure and the gratuitous beautiful people that ABC likes to throw at us every now and then, so what’s wrong with this show? For me, the problem is the time slot. Honestly, people turn off the TV after Revenge and I think lack of interest attributed to time slot will be the downfall of this show. I am going to keep watching until that call is made, and I assure you that this show will most likely be cancelled…unfortunately. I think a good move for ABC would be to put Nashville on after Revenge and put something else on at 10 on Wednesdays. Then they would sure have jam packed ratings for Sundays if they did that.
WELL. I hope HBO has found its next hit because this show was awesome! This guy is SUCH a loser, tries WAY too hard to be “cool”, is actually very lonely and is such a self-centered prick to his friends that this show has all the ingredients to be a hit. I don’t know how the general public will receive it, but the character, Stuart, Stephen Merchant has created is FABULOUS. I enjoyed the show and I would love to see if it continues.
I must say I have struggled with this show. I don’t always know or understand what is going on because of the winding and twisting storylines they weave, but I must say I enjoyed this episode. I’m glad Jack knows about Amanda now, and it’s weird to see Emily showing some REAL feelings for someone. The first couple seconds of the show were very intriguing and I wonder who is going to shoot Emily. Looking forward to next week!
Can I just say I loved this episode more than the last season in its entirety ?! What an awesome premiere! We follow three different sets of character journeys looking for Henry, looking for family, and looking for love. We meet Peter Pan, mermaids and lost boys! I am SO excited to see how this season pans out.

Masters of Sex Series Premiere: Pilot
Excitement Rating: 7/10
I’ve seen the pilot and the second episode already and, don’t get me wrong, I do like it….I just don’t LOVE it or NEED to watch it yet.
Betrayal Series Premiere: Pilot
Excitement Rating: 4/10
While I understand why they are putting this on after Revenge, I don’t think it will do well in the timeslot. I am certainly not expecting to love this show, if I do then you can all watch me eat my words later.
GUYS. I LOVED THIS. Finally, a sitcom that actually has a little bit of depth (cough cough…Dads)! Sarah Michelle Gellar and Robin Williams are totally believable as a father/daughter duo who own a marketing company and are just trying to float by. Robin Williams’ character is always making light of the situation and masks his fears with an over-the-top can do attitude. Sarah Michelle Gellar is a somewhat uptight, wound up but lovable co-owner of the company (Roberts and Roberts) who worries, but loves her dad. Awesome guest appearance by Kelly Clarkson. This show had me laughing AND feeling. Can’t wait for next week!
In the season opener of Parks and Rec, we see Leslie struggling to win her town back. Regardless, April enters her in a contest, which she wins, which sends her to London for an awards ceremony. Ron, Andy, and April all go with her. Andy meets his British twin, which is quite hilarious, and Leslie spends some time with Heidi Klum who is a beloved treasure to her town in Denmark. Back at home, it is revealed that Ann is pregnant with Chris’ baby and Tom tries to find out who the mysterious celebrity is who stole Rent-A-Swag’s idea.
In the season premiere, we meet Charlie’s long lost lesbian daughter, Jenny, who shows up at Walden’s house looking for information on her father. The men decide where she should stay. Can I just say I LOVE this change? I think it’s for the better and it proves that you can honestly keep this show going on for YEARS if you just change some of the core cast members around but keep the oldies and goodies!
