Pretty Little Liars Season 4 Midseason Finale: Surprises, Shake Ups and Secret Reveals!

Published August 28, 2013 by tiradical20s

Pretty Little Liars certainly did slap us in the face tonight!  While shamelessly promoting the spin off series, Ravenswood, we found out Red Coat is CeCe and that #EzrA is apparently A!  I am not 100% convinced on this fact and I am certainly not convinced that Alison is alive either.  Actually, as an exreader of the book series, I know the answer to this, but everything else has been such a clusterfuck, how are we supposed to know for sure?  In any matter, Pretty Little Liars will grace us with a Halloween episode on October 22nd at 8 pm right before the series premiere of Ravenswood.

The New Ravenswood Trailer: Spooky and Holding Its Own against Pretty Little Liars?

Intriguing, right? I am STOKED!

Ravenswood premieres

October 22, 2013 at 9 pm right after Pretty Little Liars!

6/5/13 Shows

Published June 6, 2013 by tiradical20s

Melissa & Joey, the show we HATE to love.  I mean, let’s be honest….it’s a terrible, terrible show that only exists to harbor those nostalgic feelings we can’t let go of for the 90s.  I mean, right?  HOLY CRAP AND SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH IS ON A SHOW WITH JOEY LAWRENCE.  Honestly, the writers and producers banged their head against a keyboard and the script for this show was the outcome of that.  In this episode, we see Melissa and Joey dating opposite ends of a nasty divorce while Ryder struggles with being suspended after smoking weed on a school trip.  Also, Lennox is useless as per usual.

Baby Daddy might be just as bad as any other show, but I appreciate what it is trying to do.  In this show we see a character who is NOT the main character not have 1, not 2, but 3 love interests.  I personally would love to see Riley end up with Danny, but we all know she is eventually going to end up with Ben.  I almost wish they just took the baby out of the equation all together and made the show a buddy comedy with these characters, I think then it wouldn’t seem like a watered down version of Raising Hope.  I do appreciate Tahj Mowry’s quips but I think ABC Family needs to stop pretending he is some kind of sexy casanova, because that does not work for me.  In this episode, we see the boys trying to tell Riley that her new boyfriend, Kyle XY Fitch, is a married man only to figure out they should have checked their facts first.

Pretty Little Liars Season 3, Episode 13: This Is a Dark Ride

Published October 25, 2012 by tiradical20s

It’s Halloween in Rosewood and as per usual, the girls are being terrorized by A.  I LOVE THE HALLOWEEN EPISODES OF PLL BTW.

They all take a on the haunted train party (lol) and are subsequently taunted by our friend in the mysterious doll mask.  Mona has also escaped from Radcliffe for the evening (it seems really easy to escape from the mental asylum…just saying, maybe they should amp up their security!).

Every time Toby was on screen I hissed like a feral cat.  HE IS EVIL, PURE EVIL.  Also, is anyone starting to suspect Ezra may be involved?  He was acting super sketch in this episode.

Things we learned:

  1. Jenna thinks that Garrett killed Alison, but he didn’t he only pretended too.
  2. Aria’s dad was seen yelling at Alison right before she died. WTF IS THAT ABOUT?!
  3. Garrett’s dead because he was about to tell Spencer the truth

Can’t wait for January

Switched at Birth Season 1, Episode 30: Street Noises Invade The House

Published October 23, 2012 by tiradical20s

In the first season finale of Switched at Birth we see a lot of dramz going down between the Kennish-Vasquez clan.

Daphne and Jeff’s tumultuous relationship is exposed by the establishment and to her family.  Jeff freaks out and Daphne follows his lead and quits her job at the restaurant  thinking Jeff will want to be with her forever if she does that.  Jeff explains to Daphne that he just does not love her like she loves him.  SO sad…but #daphnedumped popping up on the screen was the funniest thing I have seen in a long ass time.  I also love how Angelo decided to be a father figure for like the first time ever to Daphne at that point.

The Kennish’s end up winning their lawsuit against the hospital….for 1 dollar.  Angelo wins his lawsuit as well….but wins 5 million dollars.  I think it was noble of Kathryn and John to accept that low amount of money and just take the pride of winning with them.  Makes them seem less awful.

Bay and Zarra decide to go to Mexico to meet up with Zarra’s dad in Bay’s latest “I’m so individual and grown up” scheme.  Bay starts to change her mind when she figures out Zarra is actually full of shit and has no idea what she is doing.  Emmett and John track her on her phone and they find her and Zarra sleeping in a car.  They take Bay home but Zarra sneaks off into the distance.

A possible Bay and Emmett reconciliation in the season 2 opener January 7th? Maybe.  A baby for Angelo? Maybe!

We’ll find out soon enough!

Switched at Birth Season 1, Episode 29: The Trial

Published October 18, 2012 by tiradical20s

The trial about the switch begins.

Stupid Bay gets the money back that she stole from her dad by lying to people at school about a Halloween dance she is raising money for, but the only one who bites is Simone who gives her all the money.  Bay and Travis seem to be in the clear until John realizes that the bills are no longer 100s but 20s.  This leads to John thinking that Travis is borrowing money from him, which is what Travis is afraid of.  Daphne, knowing this information from John, tells Bay that she will tell John if she doesn’t because Travis doesn’t deserve to get fired.  Bay admits her actions to her mother and Bay gets in a lot of trouble.

Daphne and Jeff continue their secret courtship and Melody realizes what is going on after stopping at Jeff’s house while Daphne is there.  Melody tries to talk to Daphne about it, but Daphne thinks she is just jealous and ignores her.  It is revealed that Daphne is not a virgin and Jeff tries to end it with her because it is illegal and Melody knows.  Too bad the episode ends with Daphne at Jeff’s house and the door closing dramatically…..can we say statutory rape?

Do you think Daphe and Jeff slept together? Wooooo boy.
