Shows stuck in Limbo :(

Published September 22, 2013 by tiradical20s

I hope to find out about these poor unfortunate souls in the coming weeks. As soon as I hear YOU will hear!

Ended September 9th, supposed decision to be made by September 30th

Logically speaking, does a Season 2 make sense?: YES. YES. YES. HUGE cliffhanger!

Ended September 11th, no word one when a decision will be made

Logically speaking, does a Season 2 make sense?:  Yes or no.  Honestly, we left off at a very sweet ending and if it did end its not like we won’t sleep at night.

The Client List

Ended June 16th, no word on renewal due to Jennifer Love Hewitt’s pregnancy and how to incorporate it into the show

Logically speaking, does a Season 3 make sense?: I would feel extremely dissatisfied if they canceled the show after season 2.

Camp Season 1 Finale: Summer is most definitely over, but…is this show?

Published September 15, 2013 by tiradical20s

As “eh” as this show was at first, I truly believe it blossomed as the season went on.  Honestly, anyone who has been to summer sleepaway camp can relate full on to this show and it is a wonderful representation of what your summer away would be like.  Although there seems to be a distinct lack of supervision and care at this camp, everything else was spot on.  I am glad Marina went to live with Buzz and Mac, I am interested to see if next season (and I sincerely do hope there is a next season) if her and Kip stayed together for the year.   Robbie and Sarah had sort of reconciled, which was nice to see, but I think those two need the year to think about what exactly the way.  Also, fun fact: did you know 80% of the cast is Australian?  The only one I could really hear it in was the girl who played Marina when she spoke fast/was upset, but other than that, WOW! This cast perfected their American accents so well done! Anyway, I will let you know when/if I hear about a second season….fingers crossed!

Early Viewing: Welcome to the Family Pilot

Published September 11, 2013 by tiradical20s

I must say, I was very quick to write this show off when it was added to the NBC new shows list.  I was annoyed because, yet again, there was another family dynamic show that was trying to capitalize off of Modern Family’s success and I just honestly think, although Modern Family is overrated in my opinion, that no one else is going to be able to pull off The Modern Family vibe like Modern Family can.  But, I was pleasantly surprised by this show.  The pilot was hilarious and presented and extremely interesting problem that a lot of people face when your young children are in love and expecting a baby: what if you can’t stand your in-laws? I do look forward to see how the general public takes this show….so far, I am a fan! Obviously, as we all know, I am not the best at gaging comedies because everyone has a different sense of humor, but I do hope the best for this show!

Welcome to the Family premieres Thursday, October 3rd at 8:30 pm on NBC!

Mockingbird Lane Season 1, Episode 1: Pilot

Published October 27, 2012 by tiradical20s

First Impression:

Well, I never saw The Muensters, but why not let’s give it a shot.

Last Impression:

I liked it! I mean, like I said, I don’t think it’s really fair to call it The Muensters, which is why they didn’t, but it was good.  It’s definitely an interesting concept and I think I would like to see it get picked up.  It would be good for NBC to have a dramedy like this because it’s unlike anything on their lineup.  I hope it does get picked up so we can see where it goes.  I think it is something they can carry on for a few years.

Up All Night Season 2, Episode 6: Ma’am’d

Published October 26, 2012 by tiradical20s

Reagan becomes upset when she realizes that not everyone thinks she is hip and cool anymore.  Especially when a man who works at a coffee shop calls her “ma’am.”  She feels a little better when her dentist starts showing her a lot of attention.

Ava and guest star Sean Hayes are put in charge of the spooky Halloween house in her neighborhood but go overboard.  She only does it because she realizes she has no relationships with any of her neighbors.   FUAva hahahaha.

I feel like this episode has been done many times over on other shows….new material people, that’s all I’m asking.

Parks & Recreation Season 5, Episode 5: Halloween Surprise

Published October 26, 2012 by tiradical20s

It’s Halloween in Pawnee and everyone is celebrating a little differently.

  • Everyone is preparing for the tag sale, including Ron who is selling a table
  • Jerry is celebrating in the hospital after he has a heart attack
  • Ron and Andy are left in charge of Ron’s new girlfriend’s two young girls when she is called away during trick or treating
  • Leslie becomes upset when there is a chance Ben may stay away longer after she purchases a lease on a new house
  • April returns to Pawnee
  • Ben surprises Leslie in their new home and PROPOSES!!!

I can’t even handle television proposals….I love them! Congrats Leslie and Ben 😀
