How I Met Your Mother Series Premiere: The Locket and Coming Back

I was happy to see this show return.  This show always touches something deeply inside me in twenty minutes when it gets emotional, and this episode was no exception.  In the second episode of the night, when Ted talk to the mother about coming back, I was sobbing and my boyfriend made fun of me.  In other news, Barney and Robin find out they may be related and Lilly learns to deal without Marshall and Marvin before the wedding.  I am so sad this show is ending…..can you imagine this show NOT being on the air?

How I Met Your Mother continues next Monday at 8!

This will either be a tidbit of comedic gold, or an absolute flop.  I am trying to prepare myself for a letdown, so I will be pleasantly surprised if it is a hit.

How I Met Your Mother Season 8, Episode 4: Who wants to be a Godparent?

 

This was a snooze of an episode.  This show continues to get worse and worse as time goes on.  If it were up to me, I would totally just watch the first and last episode of every season because they are the only episodes that actually matter.

I had a follower last week tell me that he believes that the show has been going down hill for some time and I completely agree with him.  He also said it’s like Jason Segel is trying to get fired from the show, which I’m sure he is because he has a pretty decent film career now so he doesn’t really need this show…but let’s be honest, what is Josh Radnor going to do when this show is over? HA.

Oh, yeah, the episode was about Lily and Marshall trying to figure out which of the gang would be the best choice as godparents….and GUESS WHAT THEY CHOSE ALL OF THEM.  Aww how sweet. I’m over it.

How I Met Your Mother Season 8, Episode 3: Nannies

 

Lily and Marshall try to find the perfect, yet affordable, nanny for little Marvin.  They go through tons of applicants and even find some good ones, but in the end Lily has a hard time leaving Marvin with a stranger.  The job eventually goes to Lily’s father who recently burnt down his house because of a fireworks accident.

In the mean time, Ted and Robin fight about who has the stronger relationship.  In actuality, neither one of them do.

Barney deals with his break up with Quinn the best way he knows how: sleeping with a ton of ladies….it just so happens that these ladies are also interviewing for Lily and Marshal’s nannying position.

Loved how Barney slept with the English nanny….hilarious.

How I met your Mother Season 8, Episode 2: The Pre-Nup

This episode documents the potential break up of one of the four couples pictured above.

SPOILER ALERT: It’s Barney and Quinn

I mean, the episode is called Pre-Nup…so you can assume there was an argument about the pre-nup.

Other honorable mentions of funniness in the episode include:

• Robin gets turned on by watching herself on the news
• Klaus is living with Ted and Victoria….and some ferrets
• The whole Marshall throwing Marvin thing was hilarious
