The Inbetweeners Season 1, Episode 10: Reading Gives You Wings

Published October 25, 2012 by tiradical20s

While trying to impress popular cheerleader/lap partner, Samantha, Will becomes disgusted with the school’s remodeling of the library into a Red Bull lounge.

Simon tries to deal with Lauren’s thievery and general loopiness, but eventually ends up comforting Carly at the end of the episode when things go south with Bobby.  Lauren gets arrested for shoplifting and it is probably the end of their relationship.

Jay and Neil try to learn things for Neil’s dad’s “carpenter”

Underemployed Season 1, Episode 2: The Crib

OKAY. LET ME START OFF BY SAYING I LIKED THIS EPISODE BETTER THAN THE PILOT.  THEN WHY AM I WRITING IN ALL CAPS, YOU ASK?  OH, I’LL TELL YOU WHY.

WHOEVER WROTE THE CHARACTER RAVIVA NEEDS TO BE SLAPPED RIGHT IN THE FACE.  SHE IS THE WORST CHARACTER ON TELEVISION RIGHT NOW.  THE WORST.  SHE IS WORSE THAN THE EVIL QUEEN/REGINA ON ONCE UPON A TIME AND EVEN WORSE THAN VICTORIA ON REVENGE.  WHY?

BECAUSE SHE’S A GOD DAMN LIAR AND OBNOXIOUS.

Okay, I am done with caps now.  But let me explain myself.  She just had this baby, Rosemary, right, and yeah, I understand she wants to be able to move into Lou’s apartment with her and be comfortable with said baby, but she was NAGGING him right before work that everything needed to be done NOW when he was TRYING TO GO MAKE A LIVING FOR HIM AND HIS NEW FAMILY.

“I will be home at 6, we can talk about it then.”

“WELL FINE I AM JUST GOING TO STAY AT MY MOM’S HOUSE!”

SHUT UP,BITCH, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU HE IS TRYING TO HELP YOU!

Other than that, I love the friendships portrayed on the show and how they are all there for each other no matter what.  Being the same age as the kids on this show, I completely understand their struggles.

Underemployed Season 1, Episode 1: Pilot

First Impression:

It looks funny, typical MTV funny stuff.  Looks like it would be a good pair up for Awkward.

Last Impression:

This show is definitely not that funny, but it is a really good show for my generation of kids.  This is sort of what we are all going through right now, I definitely understand how some of these people are feeling.

Okay, my boyfriend and I were discussing this as we were watching the show, what is WRONG with that girl Raviva?  Why is she such a liar??? Why did she tell her friends that Lou was scared about the baby and being a dick about it when he was so supportive and wanted to help her?  She also lied about her mom and she was so insincere at the hospital when Lou was talking about how much he loved her and Rosemary.  She’s awful!  We don’t like her and I think she is going to leave the baby with Lou and peace.

Lou is definitely my favorite character on the show right now.  The premiere episode did’t really attract a boatload of ratings, but I blame that on MTV for not advertising well as per usual.  The same thing happened to The Inbetweeners.

The Inbetweeners Season 1, Episode 9: Fire!

Published October 16, 2012 by tiradical20s

Will is dubbed a hero after he puts out a minute fire raging in the high school halls.  Once the fire is dubbed arson, Will is asked to help find who started the fire.

In the mean time, the boys are all excited about a party that Jay heard about from his new 7th grade girlfriend.  Why they even wanted to go to a party that a 7th grader heard about is ridiculous.   Actually, I am not sure they knew it was a party she knew about.

Simon is also dating the new girl they met in the last episode (whose name escapes me…) who is extremely jealous of Carly and her friendship with Simon.  “I want her to see us”….yikes!

Turns out the party is being thrown at Simon’s house by Simon’s little brother and the boys are equally as loserish.
