While trying to impress popular cheerleader/lap partner, Samantha, Will becomes disgusted with the school’s remodeling of the library into a Red Bull lounge.
Simon tries to deal with Lauren’s thievery and general loopiness, but eventually ends up comforting Carly at the end of the episode when things go south with Bobby. Lauren gets arrested for shoplifting and it is probably the end of their relationship.
Jay and Neil try to learn things for Neil’s dad’s “carpenter”
Will is dubbed a hero after he puts out a minute fire raging in the high school halls. Once the fire is dubbed arson, Will is asked to help find who started the fire.
In the mean time, the boys are all excited about a party that Jay heard about from his new 7th grade girlfriend. Why they even wanted to go to a party that a 7th grader heard about is ridiculous. Actually, I am not sure they knew it was a party she knew about.
Simon is also dating the new girl they met in the last episode (whose name escapes me…) who is extremely jealous of Carly and her friendship with Simon. “I want her to see us”….yikes!
Turns out the party is being thrown at Simon’s house by Simon’s little brother and the boys are equally as loserish.
Will and Simon battle for the affections of a new girl on their class trip to a Civil War reenactment place.
Will has his bus nausea to battle and Simon has Carly to worry about. Simon ends up getting most of the girl’s attention, but Carly steals him away on the bus ride home while Will is vomiting an unhealthy amount in the bathroom (absolutely DISGUSTING).
Meanwhile, Neil makes friends with some of the reenacters and Jay falls in love with a 7th grader.
What will these boys do next?
Let me tell you why I thoroughly enjoyed this episode:
JAY WAS CALLED OUT ON JUST HOW MUCH HE LIES ALL THE FUCKING TIME. Did you see him attempt to make out with that girl???? Jesus.
And fingering the girl’s stomach fat? JESUS. I was appalled.
The funny thing about this episode is that all of them could have gotten laid…..ALL OF THEM….and they didn’t because they are all douches (except for Neil, because he’s my pretty pony).
I think it was interesting to see more of Jay’s parents. Obviously, his father is the reason for how he acts. It’s pretty gross how he treats him, but I don’t think it’s necessary to go into a parental analysis on a comedy show ;).
Anyway, if you people don’t start watching this show I am going to cry. It’s going to get canceled and it’s going to be YOUR fault!!!!

In this episode: Jay wants to uphold the family legacy of class clown, Simon prepares for a potential game changing sleepover with Carly (and BLOWS it), Will tries to get rid of Charlotte’s ex boyfriend and his bullying ways, and Neil is Neil.
I think a notable moment in this episode is when Will’s mother tells Will to come at her like he is going to rape her. HAHA. No mother should EVER say that to their child!!!!
GUYS. THIS SHOW NEEDS RATINGS SO WATCH IT. It’s fantastic!!!
During the “Senior Slave Auction” at school, Will doesn’t want to make it obvious that he is bidding on Charlotte, so the boys decide to bid on an upperclassman male….who just happens to be black. Bidding on a black guy in a slave auction does NOT look good. The boys go out of their way to not be racist to him but end up being extremely racist.
Also, during a father/son golf trip to the country club with Simon’s dad, the boys get into more trouble. Jay gets his penis stuck in the Jacuzzi jet (see picture) while trying to achieve the “ultimate orgasm,” Will ends up playing Simon’s dad in golf when Simon makes him angry and Neil gets drunk off of 20 pina coladas.
The picture pretty much says it all. HAHA.
Will tries to make himself more appealing to a girl he meets by starting a club with her interests in mind. Simon joins in when Carly becomes interested in Will’s club.
Jay tries to experience his first wet dream by stopping all the “sexual contact” he’s been having.
Neil is Neil.
Seriously. If you guys don’t start watching this show, I will have to find all of you and make you all “you disappoint me” T-Shirts.
Okay, so why didn’t you guys listen to me last week? The ratings for The Inbetweeners suck :(. If it gets cancelled, I am going to make a post about how you have all failed me.
The boys, on their never-ending quest to be cool, decide to, first, drink at a bowling alley and then sneak into a club with Carly and her parrots.
I really enjoy how full of shit Jay is. I liked when he was like “Oh, I’m hungover” and Simon was like “….didn’t you have a doctors appointment today?” HAHA. I’ve known people like that my whole life, so it’s fun to see it portrayed on television.
I was so happy Simon got to spend some time with Carly away from her stupid boyfriend. I hope he gets to be with her :-).
I continue to enjoy the “Neil’s dad is gay” jokes. I hope we get to see Neil’s dad before the end of the season. My boyfriend seems to think we won’t but I hope he’s wrong.
Did you guys know that there is a movie in production for this show? I wish they did the movie first, maybe the show would get better ratings.

I love this show, I really honestly do and I think MTV would be smart to pair this with Awkward when and if it comes back for a second season.
These four boys have AWESOME chemistry together and the laughs are unstoppable. I am sorry that the ratings are kind of sucky at the moment, because that could be the demise of The Inbetweeners before we even get to a 3rd episode :(. I really hope more of you watched this last night!!!!

First Impression:
Oh, god. This is going to be just like every other “nerd comedy.” Allow me to take a nap and wake up in 22 minutes when all the gag jokes and physical comedy shenanigans are out of the way.
Last Impression:
Guys, my boyfriend and I were in absolute stitches watching this show. The characters, although done before in some way or another, are hysterical and have a sense of realism behind them. There were so many awesome one liners throughout the show from all four of the main characters and there was not one unlikable character to be found. I would call this Workaholics for a slightly younger and more naive crowd. If the rest of the episodes continue to be as funny as the pilot, I could see this show doing very well for itself. I give it a 4/5 stars.
